Mr Richard Kwasnicki

Mr Richard Kwasnicki MBBS PhD FRCS (Plast)

Richard is a Senior Plastic Surgery Resident in London who holds the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery (FRCS Plast), the UK’s final specialty examination.

His training has been undertaken at London teaching hospitals as well as in the US learning from the foremost surgeons at Massachusetts General Hospital and Johns Hopkins in their face transplant programmes.

Richard has a PhD from Imperial College London where he leads a team researching the implementation of new technologies to speed up recovery after plastic surgery. He has published over 50 journal papers and presents his latest research at international meetings every year.

Richard has a keen aesthetic eye for facial proportions.  He likes to use subtle touches to highlight key features and soften the effects of stress and ageing. He is a perfectionist when approaching skin lesions and uses his experience in reconstructive surgery to minimise scarring.
