Baby Botox
Before & After Botox Results
If you are looking for anti-ageing treatments that use a minimal amount of injectable product and deliver subtle results, then Baby Botox may be a good treatment option.
For clients looking for natural results, Cosmedics Skin Clinics offers this popular treatment option in a choice of London and Bristol clinics. The soft approach of baby Botox make it ideal for people who are new to having treatment and don’t want it to look too extreme. It also suits younger patients from their late 20s onwards who are experiencing the early signs of ageing and want to soften fine lines while also helping to prevent the onset of further wrinkles. Treatment is carried out by highly trained doctors and surgeons.
What is Baby Botox?
Baby Botox is best thought of as a treatment approach rather than a different treatment. It uses the same product as standard Botox treatment – Botulinum toxin is injected in order to relax the fine dynamic facial muscles. The objective is to calm excessive movement and allowing the skin to appear smoother and with fewer lines.
The approach is extremely subtle and avoids any dramatic results for a look that is soft and natural.
At Cosmedics Skin Clinics, the treatment is carried out using super-fine needles. This means that it can be injected very precisely but in addition, the fine needles cause minimal discomfort too.
The Difference Between Botox and Baby Botox
While baby Botox is essentially a modified way of doing Botox injections, there are some key differences.
Firstly, in baby Botox, a smaller amount of product is used – both in terms of the total amount of botulinum toxin used and the amount used per injection. Secondly, each injection delivers just a few drops of the muscle relaxing agent.
Thirdly, practitioners often use a number of injection points in order to create a pleasing effect across the area. It is important to disperse the product ‘little and often’. Baby Botox is a skilled procedure. The product is carefully placed in order to create anti-ageing results.

Results of Baby Botox
Baby Botox results tend to be much softer and less obvious. People are more likely to think you look ‘well’, ‘ rested’ or ‘fresh’ rather than remarking that you’ve had Botox in particular. If you want to look younger without looking frozen or fake, then baby Botox may well be the most appropriate treatment to choose. It can be your secret.
However, if you are looking for more noticeable results that go further in eliminating lines and wrinkles, turning back the clock a bit further, then you may prefer to consider traditional Botox treatment. Our team is happy to discuss what’s right for you at your consultation.
Baby Botox Side Effects
Baby Botox is a safe and effective procedure with limited risk of side effects. The potential for adverse reactions is very low and the risks tend to be very short term in the majority of cases.
The most common side effect is a headache after treatment. This can be managed with paracetamol and normally passes within a few hours. Bruising at the site of the injection is also a potential risk. This lasts up to a few days but is easily masked with concealer.
As good medical practice, we will discuss your medical history at your consultation prior to the botox treatment. Our doctors will explain all risks will be fully explained at your consultation so that you have all the facts before deciding whether or not to go ahead.
Baby Botox Pricing UK
Baby Botox uses a minimal amount of product and therefore the cost of treatment tends to be at the lower end of the scale.
Depending on the area being treated, you may pay for 1-2 areas of treatment. At Cosmedics Skin Clinics, the prices of 1 area of Botox start from £275 and increase if you have more areas treated.
A professional consultation is also required, but this fee can be discounted against the cost of treatment carried out in the same appointment as part of Cosmedics’ ‘See & Treat’ offering.

What is Botox?
Botox is the best anti-ageing treatment for frown, forehead and eye wrinkles, and that is a fact! It is a worldwide success as the number one treatment shows no signs of diminishing, with over 500,000 face treatments in the UK alone.
How does Botox work?
Botox blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles. The injected muscle then relaxes. That makes the overlying skin lines also relax and smooth out.
Botox is most often used on forehead lines, crow’s feet (lines around the eye), and frown lines
At what age should you start getting Botox?
Both men and women typically start Botox in their late twenties/early thirties, with the most popular age group 30-60 years old.
Are the injections painful?
No as we use nano sized needles for pain-free injections. This also helps to minimise bruising and redness afterwards.
Does Botox make you look older after it wears off?
No. Botox essentially rests the skin; so that during the time the Botox is smoothing out the skin, it has a chance to repair.
This actually makes the skin look better for longer even after the Botox has worn off.
Are there different types of botulinum toxin?
Yes, Botox is the most commonly used type of toxin, but others include Disport, Azzalure and Vistabel.

We have Botox clinics in central London at our Harley Street clinic.
