Dermal fillers are made up of natural product called hyaluronic acid which is a gel like substance that dissolves over the course of 8-12 months. Permanent fillers are not normally recommended for cosmetic procedures unless it is for reconstructive work. These non surgical filler treatments have revolutionised the aesthetic industry and now coexist alongside botox as the most popular cosmetic treatments.

I want to remove my frown that is constantly there what is the best option?

Frown lines can respond very well to muscle relaxing injections and this would be our first treatment option choice. Should the lines not completley go filler injections can also be used in addition to lift the deeper lines out.

What is the best option for making me look younger?

Both filler injections and muscle relaxing injections will have a beneficial effect and really depends on your consultation with the doctor what they feel would be best for your overall appearance as we always strive for a natural appearance. As a general rule muscle relaxing injections work best for the upper third of the face and the filler injections work best for the lower 2 thirds of the face.

Are they any side effects I should be aware of?

Both injectable treatments are quick and have relatively little if any side effects. Occasionally you can get some brusing and swelling which is more common with wrinkle fillers around the mouth area but this normally settles in a 2-3 days. The muscle relaxing injections rarely have any issues other than rarely needing a bit more if the muscle are very strong which is often done as  a top up 2-3 weeks lateron. Rarely again there maybe a small bruise but this is easily concealed with makeup and normal activities can resume straight after.

How much is the wrinkle filler and muscle relaxing injections going to cost?

Costs start from £240 for Botox and £250 for fillers.  Exact costs will depend on the area treated, brand chosen and amount required. We currently are offering £30 off to NEW patients at all our clinics.
