More about Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are a produced specifically to fill out lines and wrinkles of the face that are caused by the effects of ageing. Our patients love the filler results that give them a natural lift and fullness to their face that makes them look fresher and younger.
At all our clinics dermal fillers are injected by experienced uk doctors and not nurses or beauticians.
These are medical procedures and as such should be done in a safe infection free environment by experts who can professionally assess your suitability. Our prices are not that much more expensive than cheaper salons but you are guaranteed peace of mind for a professional treatment.
The dermal fillers are injected into the the top layers of the skin to fill out the areas of depleted collagen that has worn away with the constant creasing in certain areas of the face. The main areas that fillers treat are the nose to mouth lines (nasolabial folds) , mouth lines, cheek lines, frown lines and eye lines. Higher grade filler can also be used to enhance cheeks, chins and reshape the nose (non surgical rhinoplasty).
The beauty of non-permanent fillers is that they can be added to gradually with time so the facial structure is able to be naturally enhanced as the ageing process occurs.
The injections are now used with anaesthetic in the actual filler to ensure that the treatments are not painful. For certain procedures numbing cream can also be applied that maybe in more sensitive areas such as the mouth and lips.
After the procedure the filler results are immediate and you can see the full rejuvenated results of your skin that same day. Often our patients say their friends comment on how well they look and less tired as well as a little younger.

What else can dermal face fillers be used for ?
Dermal fillers of the face can also be used for under eye areas know as tear troughs, to correct contours of the nose ( non surgical rhinoplasty ), help with acne scars that are pitted or indented and lastly for lip enhancements.
What are the side effects of dermal fillers ?
Side effects from dermal fillers are rare and mainly associated with the injection itself that can cause some temporary redness and mild swelling that can last a day or so. Occasionally some bruising may be visible but this can normally be easily concealed and often fades after a few days. In some instances where the product has been incorrectly injected as we often see this in patients who have had it injected by an inexperienced or unqualified person the areas can go lumpy and be in the wrong position. This often then requires dissolving which has to be done by a doctor.

Yes often other wrinkle injections can be used to help turn back time and create a more youthful appearance and at our cosmetic skin clinic we aim to create a natural soft look that our patients really like.
