Sunekos Skin Boosters Questions & Answers

What's the difference between Sunekos 200 and 1200?

Sunekos 200 and 1200 are both injectable treatments that use a patented formula of amino acids and hyaluronic acid to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. However, there are some key differences between the two treatments.

  • Molecular weight of hyaluronic acid
Sunekos 1200 has a higher molecular weight hyaluronic acid than Sunekos 200. This means that Sunekos 1200 lasts longer and provides more volume than Sunekos 200.
  • Intended use
Sunekos 1200 is typically used to treat deeper wrinkles and sagging skin, while Sunekos 200 is more suitable for treating fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Injection technique
Sunekos 1200 is typically injected using a cannula, while Sunekos 200 is injected using a needle. This is because Sunekos 1200 is a thicker formulation that needs to be injected deeper into the skin.
Is Sunekos right for me?

Sunekos is generally well tolerated. However, we would not offer this treatment for people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or for people with certain medical conditions, such as autoimmune disorders. Please contact us if you wish to discuss your suitability for Sunekos.

Are there any side-effects?

Potential side effects are usually mild and temporary. The key risks are bruising, swelling, and redness; which generally pass relatively quickly.

When will I see the results?

Most patients see some improvement after the first treatment, but the best results are usually seen after the full series of treatments.

How many treatments will I need?

Sunekos is typically administered in a series of 3-4 treatments, spaced 2-4 weeks apart.
