Cost of Botox
What is the average cost for Botox in the UK
The cost of Botox can vary. The NHS website says that Botox prices range between £100 – £350 in the UK. However, figures can vary. Firstly, it depends on how many areas are being treated. While the prices may appear to start quite low, this may be for a very small dose.
At Cosmedics Skin Clinics, we clearly display the price of Botox on our website. Prices start at £275 and increase if you have more areas treated. There is also a discount for certain advanced procedures when carried out in addition to regular Botox. These treatments are Nefertiti lift, jowl lift, jaw slimming.
Reasons to avoid Botox bargain shopping
In the UK, law states that Botox must be prescribed by a qualified professional. However there are absolutely no restrictions about who can administer Botox. It is not illegal at all for any person to inject Botox without any qualifications or registration. These individuals may not have clinics and may just get business through Instagram. They can often disappear after treatment, especially if there’s a problem.
It is worth paying to have treatment by a qualified and experienced medical practitioner in a ‘bricks and mortar’ clinic that you can return to in case of a problem. The prices of someone with no premises and no qualifications/registration/insurance could well be cheaper, as they have lower costs. Yet the regular media reports demonstrate that it’s not a risk worth taking.
How to save on Botox and fillers the safe way
The safest way to have injectable treatments is to choose a medical company with a proper clinic. Having regular treatments ‘little and often’ can actually work out better in the long run, as it maintains a result and allows successive treatments to improve on what happened the previous time.
What Botox treatment do we offer and how much it costs:
Brow Lift Treatment & Pricing
Brow lift treatment is a popular option for not only smoothing out lines and creases, but also rejuvenating the whole brow area by creating a ‘lift’ effect. This is a bespoke treatment at Cosmedics Skin Clinics and quoted for the individual after full assessment and discussion. Please book a consultation to find out more.
Gummy Smile Treatment & Pricing
Treatment for gummy smile reduces the overexposed amount of gum that shows when you smile or laugh. Treatment cost based on 2 areas of Botox would be from £330. Some patients may require more or less Botox to achieve the right result. Prices are quoted and confirmed at consultation, after assessment in person.
Crow’s Feet Treatment & Pricing
Using Botox for crow’s feet can be one of the cheapest yet most effective treatments. Since the eye area is a relatively small size and the skin is delicate, it may only require 1 area of Botox. The price for this at Cosmedics Skin Clinics is £275.
Nose Wrinkles Treatment & Pricing
Treatment for bunny lines tends to be included within a wider treatment, as these can often be the accidental consequence of overtreatment elsewhere. If you have bunny lines resulting from treatment elsewhere, we may be able to treat them for as little as £275 (one area of Botox).
Forehead Lines Treatment & Pricing
Depending on the severity of forehead lines, treatment will usually require just one area of Botox. The costs for this are outlined on our price guide below/above. Prices are all subject to confirmation at your consultation, once our experts have assessed your skin and worked out the most appropriate treatment plan.
Pebble Chin Treatment & Pricing
As the chin is a small area, it can be quite a cheap Botox treatment, starting at £275 for one area. For larger areas or stronger muscles, it may be 2 areas (£350 for women or £380 for men). Prices are confirmed at consultation, prior to treatment.
Chronic Teeth Grinding Treatment & Pricing
Bruxism is an advanced treatment to calm the muscles that cause teeth grinding and jaw clenching. The treatment tends to require 1 area of Botox, which costs £275 at Cosmedics Skin Clinics. Individual requirements may vary and all prices are subject to confirmation after assessment by our expert during your consultation.
Frown Line Treatment & Pricing
Frown line treatment usually counts as one area of Botox. The costs for this are outlined on our price guide below/above. Prices are all subject to confirmation at your consultation, after our doctor has assessed your skin and recommended a suitable treatment plan.
Excessive Sweating Treatment & Pricing
Botox treatment for underarm sweating involves a series of tiny injections across the whole underarm area. Prices for this treatment are £500 in our London and Bristol clinics. We also offer hand sweating treatment in London. Botox for hand sweating costs £550.
Jawline Slimming Treatment & Pricing
Botox treatment for jawline slimming costs £395. However, the treatment price is reduced to £250 when patients have this treatment in addition to regular Botox. Where do we offer our Botox services
Cosmedics Skin Clinics has a network of 5 clinics across the UK, including 4 in London and one in Bristol. All clinics are fully registered and offer a clinical environment with highly skilled and experienced staff.
Why does botox cost more in men?
Botox costs more in men because the muscles are stronger and bigger men require more botox and as a result, the cost is slightly more due to requiring more product to create the desired results
Why is botox so expensive?
Botox is a prescription medication that requires strict regulations to ensure that it is produced to its exact specifications that adhere to the FDA guidelines as well as years of research and development that is ongoing to ensure the product is safe and consistently effective. Also by continuing research to look for additional applications
Should I be wary of botox offers or cheap prices?
The GMC (general medical council) made guidance that botox and other prescription medications or medical treatments should not be part of enticements or ‘offers’ and any establishments that offer this are going against this directive. I would be concerned about such places as the first rule of medicine is to offer a piece of impartial honest advice and if the marketing and sales are pushy from the outset it is likely they are not looking out for your best interests.
Why is the cost of botox done as per area?
In the UK the pricing is done for the area treated that often is the split into the frown, forehead and around the eyes. As most patients require similar doses in these areas that is how the pricing in the UK is calculated. In the USA their pricing structure tends to be more specific to each person and priced according to each unit of botox that is given so patients with stronger muscles may get charged more than someone with weaker muscles or wanting a softer effect.

What is Botox?
Botox is the best anti-ageing treatment for frown, forehead and eye wrinkles, and that is a fact! It is a worldwide success as the number one treatment shows no signs of diminishing, with over 500,000 face treatments in the UK alone.
How does Botox work?
Botox blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles. The injected muscle then relaxes. That makes the overlying skin lines also relax and smooth out.
Botox is most often used on forehead lines, crow’s feet (lines around the eye), and frown lines
At what age should you start getting Botox?
Both men and women typically start Botox in their late twenties/early thirties, with the most popular age group 30-60 years old.
Can I have Botox while pregnant/breastfeeding?
No. Whilst Botox is a safe treatment, like a lot of medications it is not recommended during pregnancy or breast feeding, as it is not licensed for this.
Does Botox make you look older after it wears off?
No. Botox essentially rests the skin; so that during the time the Botox is smoothing out the skin, it has a chance to repair.
This actually makes the skin look better for longer even after the Botox has worn off.
Are there different types of botulinum toxin?
Yes, Botox is the most commonly used type of toxin, but others include Disport, Azzalure and Vistabel.
How do I get rid of my other wrinkles?
Other areas that often people have signs of ageing are the cheeks and jawline. Dermal fillers and thread lifts are the best options for these.
What is baby Botox?
Baby Botox treatment is a very low dose of Botox to give a very soft result, at Cosmedics we aim to combine the softer appearance with maximum longevity to achieve the best balance possible.
Where are Botox clinics?
We have Botox clinics in central London at our Harley Street clinic.
For other Botox clinics in South west London, we also have Putney and East London we have our new City clinic.
For Botox clinics in the UK outside of London, we have our Bristol Botox clinic in the heart of Clifton.
What is the Botox cost in London UK?

For men Botox cost is £275 for 1 area, £380 for 2 areas and £425 for 3 areas as they require more Botox due to stronger muscles
