Eyelid Lift Recovery Step By Step Results Photos
If you’re thinking about having an eyelid lift to tackle the signs of ageing around your eyes, then you may have concerns about how it will look after the procedure.
Traditionally an upper blepharoplasty would be a hospital procedure involving overnight stays, bandages and quite an extensive recovery.
However, the procedure is now available at Cosmedics Skin Clinics using the most advanced and minimally invasive techniques. This means it can be done as a day case (no overnight stay). There is no need for bulky bandages and recovery is nowhere near as bad as most people would expect.
Of course, you can expect to see the wounds and dressings for the first week or so and there will be some bruising and redness. However, after the first week, stitches can be removed as the wounds have closed. From this point, the skin already looks more settled. At the end of the second week, the results are emerging quite clearly. The skin looks tauter and fresher. There is a significant reduction in the lines and wrinkles around the eyes and the area looks brighter and more alert as well as more youthful.

Upper blepharoplasty procedure
Cosmedics Skin Clinics offer upper blepharoplasty surgery, also known as eye lift, at both the Harley Street clinic and the Putney clinic.
The treatment is a very effective way of rejuvenating the appearance of the eye area. As a surgical procedure, it is able to produce more noticeable results than might be achieved with injectable treatments alone, as it removes excess skin for a tighter and smoother look. However, at Cosmedics Skin Clinics, our highly experienced surgeons ensure that the procedure doesn’t go too far, so results look natural yet highly effective.
