8 March 2021We would not offer this treatment for the following:
- Patients prone to keloid scarring
- Patients with compromised wound healing e.g. uncontrolled diabetes
- Areas with warts, infection or skin cancer
- Patients taking blood-thinners, high dose corticosteroids or oral retinoids
- Under 18s
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
