The procedure is FDA approved and is very safe. However, it is minimally invasive and as such carries certain side effects and risks: Common – Swelling, bruising, discomfort, pain or a feeling of pulling or tightness. Common – Short term dimpling of the skin. Rare – Scarring, bleeding, infection, numbness (usually temporary if at all).
