15 February 2021The NHS classes mole removal for cosmetic reasons as “non-essential” and therefore free treatment is very unlikely to be offered.
However, if you have a mole that is suspicious, we recommend you see a GP in the first instance. If the GP agrees it to be potentially cancerous, then they will refer you quickly for an expert assessment and rapid treatment.
