Sclerotherapy is an effective treatment for many people with internal haemorrhoids and is especially effective on small, bleeding haemorrhoids. However, it may not be a permanent solution, and haemorrhoids can sometimes return. Repeat treatments may be necessary. Alternative treatments such as radio frequency (Rafaelo) generally offer the highest success rates.
