8-Point Face Lift

The 8-point lift is an advanced technique for rejuvenating the face using long-lasting dermal fillers in a structural way to lift loose tissue into a more youthful position.

The procedure was developed by Brazilian plastic surgeon Dr Mauricio de Maio, the 8 Point Lift and consists of a series of injections to create a more holistic rejuvenation with a lifting effect, achieved by use of a series of strategic injection points which provide structure to the overall appearance of the face.

The results include:

• Defining the cheekbones
• Sharpening the jawline and reducing jowls
• Addressing tear troughs/shadows around the eyes
• Smoothing out nose to mouth lines (naso labial folds)
• Lifting the corners of the mouth

Relatively little filler is used in the procedure, so there is no fear of a puffy over-filled face, rather the procedure is more about restoring definition and contours which can become saggy or loose with age.

Temporary hyaluronic acid fillers are used, so the results will last from 12-24 months. When the fillers naturally deplete over time, the procedure can simply be refreshed and adjusted to suit the client’s requirements.

Special training is required for this advanced procedure and only a relatively small number of doctors are able to offer it in the UK.
