You should keep the wound clean and free of products for the first 48 hours. Once the wound has sealed (usually after 3–5 days), you can apply makeup around the area. However, we recommend avoiding applying foundation or heavy creams directly onto the incision until the stitches are removed and the skin has fully closed to prevent irritation or infection.
