A new video has been produced to demonstrate how popular BOTOX® anti-wrinkle injections work to smooth out forehead lines and creases.
Dr Ross Perry treated this patient, who was keen to reduce the appearance of deep horizontal lines across her forehead, which were accentuated with any movement. Smiling, laughing, frowning or raising her eyebrows would cause the furrows to become all the more apparent.
These are common problems experienced by clients from their 30s onwards as the skin loses its more youthful texture and elasticity.
How BOTOX® Was Used
The doctor injected a very small amount of botulinum toxin into specific points in the forehead in order to lessen the movement of fine dynamic facial muscles. This allows the skin to drape more smoothly with a significant reduction in the lines and creases.
However, Dr Perry’s injection techniques steer away from the ‘frozen’ or ‘overdone’ facial features for a result which is natural-looking and fresh, not fake.
The video beautifully illustrates movement, lines and creases in the forehead before and after.
