8 July 2020EVLA procedures are carried out under local anaesthetic so you won’t feel any pain during the procedure. Some patients experience a little discomfort afterwards for which simple paracetamol may be all that is required in the first 24 hours.
The dressings/stockings might itch a bit but that is relatively minor.
