Sclerotherapy is a safe and effective way of eliminating unsightly spider and painful varicose veins, giving legs an even and youthful appearance.

During the treatment a solution of saline (salt water) or sotradechol (detergent sclerosant) will be injected directly into the veins with a tiny needle.

The sclerosing solution causes the vein to blanch (turn white), and then gradually disappear. Because blood flow is shifted to other healthy veins nearby, sclerotherapy actually improves the circulation of your legs.

Injection sclerotherapy may eliminate the need for an invasive surgical procedure. A few areas on each leg can be treated during a session. Usually, a few treatments will be necessary to treat all existing veins.
