Are the treatments painful?

No, our doctors use the latest anaesthetics to make procedures as comfortable as possible.

How do I know the doctor is properly qualified?

All Cosmedics doctors have been trained in the UK and qualified for over 5 years. They have extensive experience in both surgical and non-surgical treatments. All have attended specialist training for all the treatments that we offer and are members of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors.

Is Cosmedics regulated and by whom?

We are regulated by the General Medical Council and follow 'best-practice' guidelines. All our doctors are insured with the Medical Protection Society.

What do I do if I have a problem or am not happy with the result?

Cosmedics offer an extensive follow-up program at no additional cost and will see you immediately with any problems should they occur.

Will I need to have a medical?

All patients provide a detailed medical history for presentation to the doctor.

Can treatments be done at the same time as consultation?

Yes. This is very common. However there is no obligation to have the treatment and we would prefer you to go and think about it if you are unsure.

What payments do you take?

We accept cash and the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Debit Cards, Maestro (formerly Switch) and Solo. We no longer accept cheques.

Do you ever turn people away?

There are several reasons that a doctor may consider that a treatment is not a suitable option for an individual and Cosmedics has a strict patient selection criteria to ensure patients are medically fit to undergo a particular treatment. It is therefore possible that we advise, in your best medical interests, that surgery is not appropriate. We will also not proceed with a procedure if we feel that your expectations exceed the results achievable from such surgery.

Please note that we do not provide treatments for anyone aged under 18 years.

What if I have a complaint?

We are committed to providing a professional service to all our clients. We do, however, have a complaints procedure in place and if for some reason you are unhappy with the treatment and feel you want to make a complaint or comment on the service provided please either contact a member of staff at the clinic or call 020 7386 0464 for further details. We will endeavour to deal with any matters arising promptly and efficiently.
