Dermaroller - Collagen Stimulation of the Face

Dermaroller is a needling technique where we injure the skin with lots of tiny little needles in a ball to stimulate your own collagen.  This is ideal for acne scarring and for irregular pore size.  The treatment takes about 15 or 20 minutes and is slightly uncomfortable, so we often give anaesthetic cream or occasionally anaesthetic injections to numb the areas.  There is redness afterwards which lasts for normally one or two days, with an occasional slight peeling effect after two or three days.  Normally 2-3 sessions of this are required in order to get the desired results.
