Leg thread vein removal

Leg thread vein removal can be achieved through laser treatment and injection treatments. Often these purply-blueish veins are common on the backs of the legs and calf area. They can often be a cosmetic nuisance, although they do not have any problems medically. The laser treatments often involve using a special type of long pulse laser which causes the vessels to shrink and close. The other method, which is called Sclerotherapy, involves injecting a sugary substance into the vein that again causes the vein to stick together and close off. Often, compression stockings are needed to be worn over the treated areas for up to a week afterwards and there can be some residual bruising that settles over 2-3 weeks. Normally, 1-2 sessions are required.
